We’ve been having some wonderful warm days, with sun and fun and lovely visitors. Lori and Tim wanted to make the best of it and decided to set up the tent and the barbecue in the yard. The food is already cooking, now they are just relaxing while they wait.
Lori is rereading on of her favorite books in the shady tent.
Tim has been helping to prepare the food and is very proud of him self.
The day has been very hot, so drinking a glass of ice water really helpes. Now he is really starting to get hungry though.
Finally the food is on the table. There is a little bit of everything, so there is enough food for sure.
The food turned out great, and they are having some lively and fun conversation over the table. The siblings really enjoy each others company.
There is so much food left still, but they decide to go straight to dessert. They have been looking forward to it and don’t want to miss it.
They only have one stick, so they have to make them in turns.
They have strawberries too, so waiting for their turn is no problem.
Lori pretty much collapses in the tent.
After all the food and dessert they relax in the tent together. They both agree that they have had the best time and want to do this again.
